Setting up and working with the ISO-17025-2017 Standard
Who should attend: Those who are working in a testing or calibration laboratory who maybe new to the Standard or are already familiar with it but need a greater understanding of it. The course is suitable for a broad range staff from those in sales, to knowledgeable engineers and scientists. The Standard is the best guide to how a laboratory should be run whether it is accredited or not.
Level: The course covers the whole of the standard but with emphasis on the areas most important to those attending.
Course content:
Learning outcomes: A good basic understanding of the ISO-17025 Standard which should enable the delegates to progress their implementation of it to the satisfaction of accreditation bodies such as UKAS.
Training delivery: The course will be introduced by Dave Ayres who has over 30 years of metrology experience in both industrial and laboratory measurements. Lawrie Cronin will present the course and has many years of experience working in electrical measurements. Lawrie was a Section Manager and an Assessment Manager for UKAS in a range of disciplines and has presented many technical papers on Metrology. Both are now external technical assessors for UKAS, INAB and ISRAC.
